Careless undertones, musical glass
Shattering softly into our past
Yesterday mornings, coffee, bed
Giving and taking idle days bread
Blemishing looks and words stain white
Shadows foretell the approaching night
Now mid-morn sunshine minds me of life
And patiently waits for warming ice
Our bright star fell, others will rise
The hopper now fiddles with weighted eyes
Roaring silver we understood
Quiet love we never could
Lift the sky, let us in
Roaring silver over again
